The Michigan chinook brings bright juicy aromas not found in its Pacific Northwest counterpart. Aroma of pineapple and “juicy” fruit are first and foremost, with a milder pine/resin aroma presence in the background. Although this hop has plenty of bittering capabilities, most brewers are using Michigan chinook as an aroma hop in their beers.
